About the event
Sign up for a fun four hour basketry class with renowned basket and story weaver, Mavis Muller, from Homer, Alaska. Mavis will instruct and collaborate with each student to create a one-of-a-kind basket using natural materials such as; cattail, fennel, flax, and yard clippings. Materials provided. Sign up early, space is limited.

Mavis Muller, Homer Alaska, began her Burning Basket project of interactive impermanent art in 2004, and has led a total of 42 burning enactments in communities in Alaska, US, and abroad.
