Artist Reception for The Muse by Tawny Foskett

The Artist Reception will include a screening of one of the 4 pieces by Tawny Foskett, along with the trailers, a digital LookBook, a short Artist Talk, some female-led 90s dance tunes, and lots to look at on the walls, tables and screens.

Director/Producer/Editor, Tawny Foskett, began studying and making films in 2001, at Humboldt State University, following a decade of training and working as an actor and dancer. Her seven shorts include the award-winning, Girls Who Smoke, which played in many festivals around the US, Canada and Europe. She holds an MFA in Film Production from Concordia University in Montreal and studied narrative directing in Melbourne, Australia at the VCA School of Film and Television. She taught film production at Cal Poly Humboldt and workshops, along with cinematographer, Sanne Kurz, at the HFF in Munich.
