An Enchanting Evening of Yusef Lateef

Join us for an Enchanting Evening of Yusef Lateef, featuring Nicholas Talvola on trumpet. Along with Nick will be Brian White on trombone and Gary Lewis on flute and saxophone. Supplying the rhythm section will be RLAD, which is Tim Randles - piano, Doug Marcum - guitar, Ken Lawrence - bass, and Mike LaBolle - drums. 

For Yusef, music was a source of spiritual meditation. A unique blend of jazz, and world music with strong middle eastern influences. You’ll hear tunes like The Plum Blossoms, Nubian Lady and The Golden Flute. A magical musical experience with some of the area's top jazz players; not to be missed.
