Zero To Fierce, the annual women’s festival of Playhouse Arts, is back and fiercer than ever! This 10-day extravaganza is all about celebrating the amazing, creative, and talented women in our community and beyond. Each and every event has been written, created, directed, curated, and produced by women, and it all happens around International Women’s Day—because one day to celebrate just isn’t enough.

Dive into live theater and musical performances, check out the art show, join fun workshops, or take your lunch break at the Arcata Playhouse and listen to inspiring talks from women who are totally rocking it. Bring your friends, bring your family, or roll out solo, and join the party! Zero To Fierce is your chance to have fun, get inspired, and cheer on the incredible women in the Arts.

International Women's Day has been around for over a hundred years, bringing awareness to the issues that continue to impact women's advancement. “Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that's diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated.” ~International Women’s Day.
